does anyone know the best way i can recored my guitar? my recorder is a boss br 1600CD and my mic is a RODE nt1a. is there a specific input level i shoud use ? how high should i set the input sens ? and how far away should the mic be from the guitar ?

the advice i give you is just that use the maximum level you can
the advice i give you is just that use the maximum level you can when recording the mic! just that it almost peaks! this way you'll only be dropping the volume when mixing! if you want higher volumes it will distort the sound!
as for the miking technique do a search! there are tons of ways!
just don't point it to the sound hole cause it will boom! but try it around the 12th fret! the distance you can record several takes to see where it fits the best!
