All Boss gives you is a table showing the amount of track time at different recording formats for newly-formatted cards up to 1GB capacity. Go pro-rata above that card size.
I've only used a Micro BR once, and it's quite a nice little unit. To get the remaining record time, you have to divide the track time from the table by the number of tracks you use. Each completed song tells you how long it is, so by scanning through the songs, extracting their times, number of tracks and recording format followed by not more than a few minutes of mental calculation it is possible to work out how much time you have left on that card.
Thanks for your help...I think I got more than I need to just record gigs from a sound board..but the price was right and i went for it...
now i've been told by Boss that you can only use up to a 1gb card..is that true...
Also they siad a WAV file is better than a Mp3 when I'm recording..do you think so...
Any help will grately appreciated...
