I bought the ASC EQ after seeing its flexibility and talking with Vince Poulos.
I also decided to check out the MicPre 5.0 which seems like absolutely the most SS bang for the buck. I've never actually seen a pre with this kind of routability/features, so I'm giving it a spin. I can either keep it or send it back--Vince'll do that for you.
Over the next week I'm going to be putting them through whatever paces I have, and I'll report back.

That would be very cool! Vince sent me one also to review and Bill has a pair of the ASC eq's to review as an affordable solution for analog mastering. The reviews should be getting posted very soon. It will be interesting to see how our opinions compare. ... Kurt
