I've recently bought the Focusrite Mixmaster Platinum for my project studio, and haven't had much luck on getting the phat out of it yet... =) It sure makes some things sound more clear, the EQ is pretty musical and the spectral compression much better than most of the pluginsI've tried, but generally Mixmaster makes my mixes lose some phat, esspecially in the lower part of the spectrum... I still haven't experimented that much, but sure want to hear if you have any experience with it ? I also use Mackie's HR824 Nearfields (my favourites) in combination with Yamaha NS10M's with Alesis RA100 amp for mixing & mastering... Any tips appreciated... =) THANX,
