Well the first thing you need to do is to reign in your posts. You've got several different threads going here which ask similar questions. It's better to limit the subject to just one post as opposed to asking the same questions in multiple posts.

Wavelab is not a "plug" in the most commonly accepted definition. It is a program, a two track editor used to edit and finalize your complete mixes that have been rendered from your multi-track program (cubase).
It's what you would use to trim the "tops and tails" (beginnings and endings) of a two track audio mix, or add final EQ, compression, limiting, etc., also known as "mastering".

The definition of a "plug" in its most widely accepted definition are Effects - things like reverbs, delays, along with Processors like compressors, limiters, etc.
