Hey, I'm looking for a pair of in ear headphones.

Was looking at the SE310's

Does anybody have any opinion on them, or could recommend something else?
A lot of opinions on the internet about it lacking bass, but then a lot of people aren't in a position to say, and seem to prefer equiptment which has 'loadsaBass' as opposed to something detailed and true soundin.

Not actually planning to mix music with these, just want a decent pair to listen back through, as close to home as possible. Prefer true flat response to 'sounds nice'

So opinions, reviews, advice,
my budget, £100-£200 off the internet. (£200-300 on the highstreet!)

Then again there are some in ears from Sennheiser, CX 300 (CX300) Black Headphone much cheaper than the Shure se310,
Do they compare? Would I notice much? Where does that extra £100 go.
Any links to reviews would be nice too. (Proper reviews)

Thanks

Hi there

I play in a band and had the same dilemma last year. After a ton of research I bought the Westone UM2s (twin driver, over £200 but I got them cheaper from Road Dog in the US). Very very happy with these, great ownership experience, both on stage and listening to the ipod. I got them stolen recently, and following some further research I decided to replace them with the Shure SE530 (triple driver, and £200 from play.com). These are also absolutely excellent, so no regrets at the switch. Both of these phones are superb. You'll need to experiment to find the right buds for your ears, but when you do you'll enjoy the earphones every time you put them in. Go with either or these, you can't go wrong

Ditto on the Westone UM2's. I use them live for every show and they're stellar IMO. I like them better than the E5's I've used in the past.
Every instrument sound good and clean...particularly my guitar (as I was concerned that it would sound thin with IE's).
I can only imagine what a triple driver would sound like.
