I've been home recording for about 12 years and I've finally decided that now might be a good time to get into this so-called 'digital realm' everyones talking about these days. I've got about $5000 left to spend after purchasing a Blue Baby Bottle mic, Behringer Truth Monitors, a Midiman Ozone, Logic Pro 7 and a Power Mac G5. I need a mixing board (perhaps the Mackie Control Universal), and a smokin' good interface (maybe the MOTU 828?) with at least 8 1/4' jacks, two XLR's, and some Midi capability. Looking for the best bang for my buck. Please help, I'll love you forever. Thanks.
