In the past I saw am article in Computer Music about making a siren sound effect. I cannot find the issue anymore. Has anybody got an idea, how to create a tempo synced siren sound effect with Logic's instruments or free AUs like AlphaCM or ZebraCM?
Probably a horn sound or reed synth. Simply use the pitch bender on a keyboard. You may want to extend the pitch range to a full tone or maybe even an octave if that is possible. If there is a pitch envelope in your daw, you can do it there.
