Hello. I have a problem with output in Pro Tools. The thing is that I can't hear what I've recorded. When I'm recording it everything is fine and i can hear what I'm playing, but when I try to replay it, sound disappears. The bar whitch shows sound amplitude (I don't know the right term) is shows that something should come out. I think the problem is that I've set up the output wrong, but I don't know how to fix it. Here is how it looks like:

I'm using Presonus AudioBox USB. But weird thing happened. I was searhing what was wrong, turnd the mono and stereo modes few times, restarted the Pro Tools and now everything is fine (I'm new at this so I don't know what I've done exactly). But soundcloud still is not working, and I can't understand why. Maybe it has something to do with the monitor path You've mentioned. I can't find anything about establishing it properly.

OK. Look at your Audiobox. It has two rows of controls. The middle one on the bottom is called mix. When it is counter-clockwise you hear the inputs you are recording. When it is clockwise you hear the playback from Pro Tools.

If understanding that solves your problems, fine. If not, see if you can get us 3 screen shots of your I/O setup. Go to the Setup drop down menu...then click on I/O. See if you can get screen grabs on the Input tab, the output tab and the bus tab. The bus might be big....probably just the top of it is enough.

Don't panic. Pro Tools has a nasty learning curve. It is perfectly normal to get confused when you start out.....soon this will all seem elementary to you.
