I ve been reading this forum for years, nevertheless i never really needed to post anything.
BUT: I have just witnessed the sonifex redbox's ad conversion and i m so impressed i m confused!
- are the sonifex units well known ? Because i only bought mine folowing a friend's suggestion. They re made in the uk, they re used for ad/da unbranded on cedar systems, and they re axtremely cheap for the quality! (400£ here in the uk for a 2i/2o unit up to 24 96) I had mine for da use, mainly for bouncing tracks out & back to the box, and due to necessity i used it to track drums & percussion today, in 24/96.
Incredibly natural & open sounding.
I know Apogeeand benchmark, and i can say this is on a par with either in my opinion.
Are any of you familiar with these/ am i going deaf/mad/other or are they very very good? (unreasonably so for the price)
any input appreciated.
