What's the deal on this thing? I'm co-engineering a CD-recording of my friends band at a studio that has it. (This is the first time I do this, I mostly mix live and fool around on a VS1880 standalone...) The engineer/owner told me it's equipped with Apogeeconverters and prefers it over his pro-tools system (4x882I/O and MOTU timepiece).

All I know of this piece of equipement is how to use the remote. :roll: So, any info is more than welcome! What's it worth, financially, and for use in a studio?
