i just got a roland td-3 to trigger the 808 sound it came with. i have a show tomarow and i want the 808 sound to sustain longer. when I'm playing. anyone have suggestions?

wow! i got so frustrated! my band played tonight. i had the td-3 all ready to go when we were doing sound check, and i had the quarter inch out going to PA, and it would not work!!!i tried plugging the quarter inch out of the phones jack no, therer was a left and wight, tried that. why would it not work. i know the pad was workingcause when i hit it, the lgith went on. is there a way that it comming out there stereo mic out, wouldnt work with the quarter inch? or the left and right, did i need both????? AHHHHH

The output of the sound module to a really good compressor can often add the right amount of sustain. There are parameters that you can adjust in the sound module. Often the include A.D.S.R. Play with them until you get it the best it is capable of.
