Hello All...
I'm preparing to work on a record in a barn/garage over this summer with a musician in the northeast. we've been doing work and research to get our system together (have very little equipment and are assembling most of it for this project in particular)...we were going to work in a daw but when it came right down to it both of us just feel more comfortable working with analog tape...so i'm looking for a 1" 8 track...what concerns should i have with this machine in this environment ie: power etc? the power situation in the barn certainly isn't the greatest. who knows anything about power conditioners to help clean it up and keep it consistent? thanks for your help.
