I've never tried the 3035 but I own a 4033 and record all my vocals with it, going strait into a Tascam fw1884. If you want to hear how it works out for me here's a link.

Keep in mind that the reverb I have on these is just the stock Cubase verb from an older version, so try not to hold that against the mic.

My 3035 pretty much stayed in the closet after I picked up a 4033. Greater clarity, faster transients, smoother freq response across the whole spectrum and less self-noise. If you're recording acoustic instruments, yeah, it's worth it.
