When using The Brick as an instrument DI for a re-amp situation later on, would you say it colours the signal too much to be usefull?
In contrast to a super-linear FET-base pre, that is.
I guess, if it sounds good it's allright, but I would like some views on this.

I do own both a Brick and a Littlelabs Red Eye (re-amp), so I've got the tools. My question would be whether it would be much different recording a more transparent signal (with some ultra-transparent SS device) rather than a somewhat coloured one, like with the Brick.
