I am about to record a death metal band and i need any help regarding guitar sound.
Any suggestions about mics, preamps, mic placement?
The rig i am goin to use is a Diesel guitar head and a Peavy 5150 cab.
i am looking for a thick sound with huge loe end and quite clean mid and highs.
Also, what about layers?
