I ordered my graphics card this morning. After much consideration, I decided on the MSI GeForce4 MX460. With the long weekend upon us, I'm hoping they get it shipped-out today.
I have all of my other components sitting here. I'll put them back in the case this weekend. So when the graphics card gets here, all I have to do is plug it in, and I'll be ready to rock.
I also need to get my axe out of the shed in case it doesn't work. :eek:

SOS rides a 1983 Suzuki GS1100E, aftermarket oil cooler, 4-into-1 Kerker open headers (megaphone), K&N air filter (size of a coffee can), modded carbs, drag bars, blacked-out engine, metallic black paint. Less than 5000 original miles on this classic muscle bike! Sounds like a funny car!
Anyway ... the MSI graphics card is winging it's way back to the retailer, and my friend sold me his graphics card for $30. Fuck it ... it works.
I didn't get a return email from the retailer that sold me the mobo, so I assume my plea fell on deaf ears.
So, as far as I'm concerned, the build is finished...

For those of you reading this, "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME"! Lay out a little more cash and get an ANUS system. Avoid AMD like "The Plague". If you need help, LISTEN TO OPUS AND TOMMYP. And last but not least ... DON'T ASK ME FOR ANY ADVICE!
