Hi...

I have a fostex fd4 that I have a problem with...

The recorder has an internal hard drive which when switched on fails to boot up...

I would guess at a software problem, I have downloaded the latest software from yourselves but need to know how to get it to the fostex.I presume it may have to be a SCSI method which I am not really familiar with. Is there any other way to do it from my home PC?

The recorder switches on but gives me a blank display and that is all. Normally you can here the hard drive booting up but there is nothing and also the drive access light on the fascia does not illuminate at all.

Can you give me an idea of what you think may be wrong
