I just buy emu0404 usb ..and when i change different asio ato emu asio ..i see the latency input become 11,... and output 13,...it set at 10m/s at emu asio ..when i set to 8m/s my cpu usage at DAW become unstable when i use addictive drum ..

i use Cubase sx3 ..and i use laptop when using it ..my laptop configuration intel core 2 duo 2Ghz, Ram 2 giga ddr2, HDD 120 Gb, VGA Ati 512Mb ..

what i wanna ask is ..
1. how latency minimum so that no delays accour during recording ?
2. which is important when recording, input or output latency or both ?
3. when i set my emu asio at 10m/s can i reduce my latency become under 10m/s ?how ?
