I got a ques for yall,would a delta 1010lt pci soundcard work
with my pc i got a compaq presario microsoft windows xp home
edition 2002, 32 bit{86},windows version says 5.1.2600,if I'm correct,
i would really like to know if the delta is compatible with my pc,
before i purchase it and if not do yall know another pci soundcard that's
equally good and would be compatible with my pc. thank you for your help

I don't know. That was hardly the point however. All I was saying is that this is a mid level product. For a legacy card, I would take an RME Hammerfall and a FireFace over this but that's just my opinion.

This computer was not good when it's new and by today's standards it is hideously slow and full of latency issues. I do not feel this will be a good fit for your recording needs regardless of the Delta 1010. You'd be better served finding a used computer no older than about 2008 if you MUST have a used computer.
