Hi, Should I set the drumset in my home studio facing the control room window or some other direction. Is there a set place the drumset shoud face. Thanks,
Nipp
Try to avoid having the drumset facing directly at the window. You'll get some pretty bad high-end reflections that will make things sound too crispy.
Also, if you want a bit more low-end from the kit, tuck it into the corner. The 4 boundaries (wall, wall, floor ceiling) converging, will add a nice standing wave and boost the lows.
