Im desperate for a hand on building a new digital workstation.
obviously not from scratch,
I use a mac although it is opssible for to use pc.
currently iv'e been recording analog through a Behringer Eurodesk MX24/42 which is wired in to the steinberg MI4 usb interface.
after using the system for about 2 years i have decided to go digital due to problems like recording drums and being able to change one small part of a hi-hat once recorded.
I have around £4000 to spend on this new system and i already have the computers and the software.
I was wondering if any one had any suggestion.
And also whether i should go with using a desk again or just rackmount?
