I have a contact at Waves and I should look into bugging him into getting a full version NFR this time. I got the time limited NFR from Sweetwater. The time limit is that you need to reauthorize the plugs every 3 months.....pain in the arse I tell ya.
From what I gathered you use Sound Forge, correct? Wavelab you don't need to hit a preview button so I'm thinking this is an issue with Sonic Foundry and Waves being VST and not Direct X or something of that nature. I'm wondering if there's an option during the install to choose Direct X over VST...did you see something of that nature when you installed the Waves stuff?
