I was out replacing an old crate head and cabinet the other day and I must have spent 4 hrs in a few different stores and tried out anything 50W and up. Anything and EVERYTHING!

Why do we search for that tone that seems to be just out of reach? That's it's own topic for another time. Finally I jacked into a peavey Valve King 212 combo and couldn't believe the sound! (and I thought they had the price tag wrong)

So I ordered the head(which is the same config) and the 4X12"cabinet.

Anyone out there own one? What impedence level do you use? Mono or stereo?
