Hello everyone. I'm currently working on a lot of mixes using both mic'd tracks and MIDI...It's mostly a rock style of music and a little bit more dominant in the lower end frequencies. Im looking for any advice or info on how to space out instruments in the frequency range to avoid masking and get the most of out the lower end. I'm mainly concerned with the ideal EQ setups for Drums (kick) Bass, and guitar. Any info would be great. What frequencies do you guys concentrate on for each? I just can't seem to get each instrument in its own area without sacfrificing some sound. Thanks!
