Picking up a buzz in recording
Set up: Shure SM59 into Behringer Europower PMH 3000 with RCA-Mini into laptop running on XP using Cool Edit Pro 2.0
Problem: Each time I begin to record there is a not so nice steady buzz recorded under the track. It's bad enough to not try and edit out but to just solve the issue entirely.
I'm sure someone knows of this issue.

The problem is your computer sound card. It was not meant to do
The problem is your computer sound card. It was not meant to do what you're asking of it. You need an inexpensive usb interface with line inputs to utilize that signal path.
