If anybody can help me here I would really appreciate it.
I am going to be using Digital Performer 4.6 software and was wondering if anyone out there has used either one of these with DP.
I know they are both supposed to work with it, but I had heard that the projectmix couldn't control effects settings in DP but could in others...
I didn't know if this was a problem anyone else has had or not.

I had to struggle a bit with the 1804, but I like it. It sounds warm, not digital.
It behaves more like pro audio gear than a computer interface, so it's a little more difficult to work with than something like a Presonus Firebox.

I use the Tascam FW-1804 with DP 4.61 in my project studio. It's essentially the same box as the FW-1884 without the transport controls. And it works great.
For what it's worth.
I hear other people have positive experiences with the 1884.
