Replacement Adaptec Drivers?

I remember reading that there were replacement drivers for the Adaptec ATA/100 RAID 1200A controller somewhere that worked better than the Adaptec drivers...anybody remember where I saw that post?

This driver is *supposed* to be a lot faster than the one supplied by Adaptec...

do so at your own risk....I would contact Adaptec about that and see what they reccomend..also see if you know anyone that has used it and if it's safe..playing with drivers like that can get nasty in the registry
