TB gave my cousins Apollo more dsp bandwidth/headroom vs FW, im not sure if the same thing applies with TB3 vs previous gen. TB evolved very quickly, i would imagine the smoke has cleared for a little while with the TB3 standard. TB3 seems available in the upper middle and above current crop of machines, with various levels of backwards compatibility depending on motherboard. Its a consideration of mine as i spec out new computers ect. im guessing we'll see high track counts available with TB3, as newer interfaces adopt the protocol. pcie level latency specs are attainable too, so you can bring some pcie cards along with your latop out on the road or trail.
no idea what w10 anniversary ed is.
