Picture of our updated mastering studio. My interns and I have been working on this since the beginning of summer. New bass traps, all wiring redone, new setup of the mastering desk and all equipment checked for proper operation and phase. BIG JOB FOR MY INTERNS AND THEY DID PROFESSIONAL LEVEL WORK!!!
I am so proud of them...

Thomas, how’s overall…
Thomas, how’s overall business been and the forecast looking? I suspect you putting all the time in to spruce up your room is a good sign! So exciting.
I was very busy throughout the last few years but I’m now seeing a slowdown coming. People seem pretty happy though.
I’m retiring this year so that will be new for me. Would love to start working on my music. Seeing you go for it is inspiring. Kudos 👍🏼
Overall business has been…
Overall business has been spotty. We continue to get new business and our loyal clients are still bringing us work. The COVID-19 pandemic did not help. We branched out into new areas like audio restoration and transfer work since every recording studio now seems to offer some form of "mastering". A vast majority of them do not have the equipment, the monitoring setup or the expertise to do a good job but they want the additional money. (IMHO most clients would be better served by going to a "real" mastering engineer but almost everyone in audio is hurting). Most times they just strap a limiter/compressor and an equalizer across the 2-Buss and call it "mastering".
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)
Best of luck in your retirement...

Looks great, Tom!
Big question: how does it sound?
