I listened.

The balance and flavor would be much more enhanced if you cut about 5 dB of compression off of the track. It is muich too loud. Did you not notice the cymbals getting "blurred" with the beats with that level? Turn it down some. Kill the compressor. Itr would never fly on vinyl at that level.

So...cut back your compressor. Shoot for a minus 15 rms and have it professionally mastered. The track will be much more out there then.

A lot of good work, the sonics is hampered by too much compression.

Here it was "shouting" and not artistically involving...just one long blast. I had to cut my gain back a lot to listen to it...then it was just too loud.

Ok, said it 5 times, you know what to do.

Agree about the compression. You're getting cymbol splatter. The overall impact isn't as strong as it could be if let go on a little squeezing. It's really cool to have a heavily compressed track (a sound I love) but there comes a point where you're hurting a track instead of helping it. Just let up a little to get back some of the power and girth and you've got a great sounding tune.

Good luck!

It sounds ok, it needs some more impact though... did you use a multiband compressor? It sounds like the impact is gone because of compression but also because the mid and top doesn't swing together with the low end? You need to fix these things before you start to think about level because who knows, maybe you can keep the level when the other things are in order?

Best Regards
