I am sure this question has been asked hundreds of times before but after a long time on Google I didn't find any threads discussing it.
What are some good "free" (I dont mind paying donations) instrument pluginsthat will work with http://www.reaper.fm Reaper[/]="http://www.reaper.fm Reaper[/]. Looking for anything really, drums, piano, string instruments etc.

Look up some good VST instruments. Dontcrack.com has a lot of them, and they're all legal to download, since all of them are legit freeware. (In fact, the site actually exists to stop people from stealing, as the name implies.) Most of the VST instruments are synths, but there's other stuff too. See what you like.

(I believe reaper can also use DirectX and one or two other types of instruments, so be sure to look through those too.)

(Also, be sure to use Synth1 and Oatmeal if you like synthesizers. They're very popular and powerful free synths.)
