ok took Big Tick out and put the FREE folder with the rest back into Plug ins/VST

actually

/library/audio/plug ins/vst

which is where my UAD and Groove agent run

however it now opens Cubase ok BUT they are not shown in the effects

Sorry david any ideas?

I was SO excited when i found your link too!

cjsproduction,

That was sooo wrong. There are some great free plugs out there that are well writen, are stable, and that sound amazing. For instance, the best maximizer I have ever heard is the TLs Maximizer; no problems ever and sounds better than anything out there, including (and especially) Waves L2.

trock,

Thanks for the compliment! So, do the plugs show up when you scan for VST plugins in the plugin information window? If so, you can try enabling old host behavior and see if that works. If not, i'm not sure what's going on. Any OSX Cubase users out there?

Hey David

Good to see you.

Well I have a little bit more bad news, I thought by getting rid of the BIG TICK stuff that cured cubase, cause it then started no problem. I also saw the FREE folder with the remaining VST's in it IN cubase when i would select a VST effect, along with my UAD and all the others.

So I am thinking HOT DAMN

But as soon as i selected one it crashed cubase

So

Not a big deal, I am going to take this over to my cubase forum and see what some others think, I am sure some of them have or are using some of these very VST's

Believe me David, if given the choice between these VST's being the Culprit or ME scewing something up always bet on it being me

When i figure it ouw I will psot you the answer

I still can't believe you went and fond all these and put them all here

that is great!
