What plugs do you use most?

I'm a newbie, but I tend to use Waves:
Req6
Rverb
L3

Also, What plugs do you use to Warm up Vocals or other track, or to give the anolog feel?

Let me know, becuase Im having a real problem with acoustic guitar+vocal mixes sounding too clean...

Thank You,
Josh

Hi

Have u thought about a different microphone? Maybe a valve mic if you're after some warmth? SE electronics (Chinese) do some cost-effective mics, as do Rode (Australian).

Alternatively, antares do mic modeller software, to model a valve mic.

In terms of getting good tone, there's no substitute for a good microphone and preamp. Depends how much money u want to spend. Focusrite preamps are a good entry level.....

In terms of plug ins, the Oxford eqs and the reverbs for the powercore platform are fantastic, and the UAD card supported pultec eqs with UA compressors on the vox sound fantastic.

Waves are good plugs but relatively expensive.
