I picked up an Arp Odyssey at an auction a while back for a good price. I spent about 50Cad. getting it up and running with an electrician. My next obsticle is figuring out who may be able to stop from strickly squeeling when I depress the keys. I use it strickly for sampling whacked out sounds that exit it endlessly. I could never accually play it because the sound produced after depressing a "C" key, for example has no definite/consistant pitch. Kinda fun (in a wacky way) but I'm getting a little tired of all the fun as well. I inquired about getting it worked on further at a few local shops that deal with audio equipment but they all seem to shy away from getting involved. Does anyone have any idea if there are still Arp parts floating around the universe for sale? Is it worth investing the time and money into it, or should I just pick up the latest VSTI version and junk the original?
