Blue is running a promo to get a free Bluebird mic with purchase of a Robbie. This sound like a great deal, so I'm looking to purchase the Robbie but wanted to find out if anyone has any reviews on them. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I imagine that the fact that very few people have any experience with the preamp is the reason they're throwing in the microphone with it now.

Their visually distinctive microphones are great, but I think that they missed the boat designing this preamp into such an impractical form factor. I'm sure they could have done something unique in a rackmountable box, which may or may not have helped the product be more successful.
