Hey,

I'm working on an archiving project at the University of Washington where we're handling a bunch of tapes from as far back as 1955.

Some of the paper/cardboard boxes housing the reels are in really bad condition. They're molding and need to be replaced so they don't contaminate other items in our library.

I've had a lot of trouble finding boxes for 1" wide, 10.5" reels. Anyone know where to find these? For some reason finding boxes for 0.25" and 0.5" have been easy, but no 1".

I guess while I'm at it, though, I've been finding 0.25" boxes for a little over $1, and 0.5" for about 3" a piece. Does this sound reasonable?
