I'd like to get a control surface mainly for the use of physical sliders. Does Cool Edit Pro 2.0, or Adobe Audition support anything? I'm looking into the Tascam US428. Any ideas/input?
You should be able to find some info.
The catch with Cool Edit/Audition is that the faders can not control volume envelopes, so you don't really have any way to record/automate fader moves.
