Can you guys recommend a control surface for Nuendo? I don't need front end like mic preamps, just good faders that respond well with Nuendo and panners. A shuttle/jog would be nice too. I have a Houston that I have been demoing, but I just started to run into some problems with it and I want to have some alternatives. The Houston is discontinued so the price is right, but I'd rather pay a little more for something that works very well. Mackie Control, Tascam? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Steve

You can't go wrong with a Mackie Controller. Works great, has channel scribble strips, etc. Also, Steinberg is just about the relase support for the Controller XT (extender unit).

Also, the new TASCAM US-2400 is about to be released, and it looks pretty sweet, but since it is not out yet, no one has really had a chance to take a serious look at it...but 24 faders for that price...man! (no channel scribble strips though... :( )
