Hello,
I've been helping a friend set up a DP3 system...he has a DA7 (which can emulate a HUI), and we got the DP3 HUI mode going. There is only one thing that bugs me about HUI mode -as soon as you start to move faders, etc for a particular bank (of 8) the DP mixer screen automatically resizes itself to only show only the bank you are currently working with. We want to see all the faders all the time...is there any work around for this? Thanks

Well now ... of all things .... LOL ... :( Hadn't realized it was so popular. Do my best to keep my life as simple as possible in matters such as these simply so I can have instant recall in regards to passwords and such for this feeble grey tissue of mine :D So I simply added another "O" !!!

Why I use "ghost" or a derivitive of it is a somewhat humorous story:

A band I once kept track of in the area here essentially gave me the nickname "Ghost" since I would give no notice as to what gig I might show up at and generally would keep myself out of their eyesight till after the gig :D

I still tend to function that way ... simply to view how consistant a band's performance / material is.

Well....first of all Kyle, I'm now the Moderator for the Fairlight Forum up here. I've just started. You can call over and say hello anytime you like. I'm moving in on the weekend. I'll let you know when the party is!

As for my curiosity? Have you ever visited Stephen Paul's (of Stephen Paul Audio)Forum, over on the Pro Talk Forum? I've got a post up there currently. It's entitled "Microphones, Reverb, and Ghosts". I'm really interested in all three topics. Stephen is well known for his knowledge, and the quality of his work. He's helping me out with a few questions I have about all three topics. Of which he has experience in - all three.

You see, my studio has a ghost. Seriously.
.....you still here?
I'm not kidding.
That's why I was interested in your name.

I don't know what you think of all this.
Maybe you'd like to let me know.
I'd be curious actually. Whether you think ghosts are BS or if you think there are things "beyond which we know". But take some time first.
Try and visit Stephen Paul's Forum up here, as I said, it's over on the RO ProTalk Forum.

Maybe call in to the Fairlight Forum (just scroll down) next week. Drop in for a coffee or something.
Kind regards

I dont know if this will help but, the same thing was happening with our MotorMix in HUI mode until CMLabs came out with a specific plug-in for the MotorMix in DP- now the screen is not effected by MotorMix........
