One quick question!

I would like to record my digital piano with MIDI, so I'm able to edit the notes later - BUT, I'd like to hear my keyboard's voice instead of a software instrument. Someone told me there's a way to do this, but I have no idea how to set this up! Can anyone tell me how? I'm on a Mac. Thanks!

I may be missing the point of what you are asking, but why can't you play the MIDI data back into the keyboard and listen to the output? You are effectively then using the keyboard voicing as a software instrument. If you run the complete file, you could also record the analog output as audio while replaying the MIDI.

How to do this and how easy it is will depend on what software package are you using.
