How does one get into the writing/recording for game music?

I'm sure there are connections, and I want to know about them.

Srry if i miss lead you, thinking i had connections or somthn. I've only heard of video game makers asking artist to score there games. Not the other way around.

Google the game manufacturers.

Contact them by phone and ask about their submission process.
Send them a sample/press kit ONLY if they ask you to. That much I DO know.

Some ONLY take submissions for individual projects that are in the works, some will buy samples for stock and pay you extra when they are used. While some do everything in house. Of course, there's all variations of contracts/usage in between.

Again, contact them and ask what their process is.
