Mobo/CPU for DAW

Hi,

Looking to purchase a PC and convert it into a DAW...will be using Nuendo on the software end...any recommendations on the hardware configuration that i should be looking to purchase?

You can get a P4 2.6 800FSB for under $200.
And a good mobo for around 125-150.

Or you could just get a mac in exchange for your left hand ring finger.
