take a couple of neoprene 'setting blocks' fold them in half. leave the 'loop space' and glue/ tape them. those are effective monitor iso on the cheap. go to a local glassier spot and get a couple blocks for a couple bucks. (obviously not a tried-true solution from science) as far as any other ucks, it's up to you. folded setting blocks do work well.. but they don't suck.

Remember, we all have to do stuff like this before any of these companies were ever created. And ya get much more education by doing it yourself. It makes you a real engineer and not just some kind of wannabe consumer. Money can buy anything and rich people don't mind that. Many studio owners are not rich but they are quite resourceful. And that just holsters you're working knowledge.

So basically, my comment was really geared towards doing it yourself, in my earlier post. Why waste money? Microphones, preamps, decent converters are far more important investments than stupid speaker isolators.

Some of us are just too practical.
