OK, not to be dense here, but who's picking up what in terms of organizing all these mixing groups? I'm confused. I really haven't even had the time to listen to all the candidates what with changing over to Win2k, meeting my first grandchild, etc.

Since this jumped out of being one song that everybody to mix to some number of songs and people are choosing, who's taking up the flag for each song? If we can arrange/delegate each song to one person to manage, things would go a little smoother, one would think. Then the "managers" could talk quietly amonsgt themselves and Mixerman. Or is this already being done?

And is there anyway one can choose to be notified by email when a response to a thread is applied? I know I can do that over at Musicplayer, so just wondering.

Roger the 'managers' as you call them are called pointmen, and there are pointmen for each song. Look under the thread MixFest2001 Pointmen.

There are five songs to choose from. You can download the songs from the thread titled MixFest 2001 Song Vote, post #3.

Goto the thread with the name of the song you want to mix, and post your desire to mix that song, and the format you would like to recieve it in. Then contact the pointman.
