Hello!

I got my self a logitech marble trackball today. My first expreience with TB's... Im not too sure.. it seems my fingers are gonna a need a while getting used to working precisely..

I also miss the scroll wheel a lot...

I assume a few ppl. here would use trackballs with their DAW's... Was looking for opinions.

Also, the logitech was my only option.

Cheers!

Thanks for the revert four!

I ws curious to know, ure way around this particular problem. With a scroll mouse, if in cubase, i could just scro the wheel to go up and down the arrangement window. Now that seems not to work, even with the logitech utility installed while assigns LR lick to a scroll wheel....

Thanks a ton!

Cheers!

Sidhu, I love trackballs! I won't use a mouse! They're awful. I love the Logitech trackballs. They do make one that has a school wheel, both wired and wireless. I have both. Wouldn't use anything else. But then it was like when I switched from trumpet to French Horn. From right hand to left hand. I wasn't a pianist nor drummer. Took a little getting used to but the payoff was truly gratifying.

I have both marble mouse and trackball (I prefer to call it thumbball)

The thumbball is for my right hand, great in trains and such, just place it on your upperleg and go,
the thumbball does have a scrollwheel

the marblemouse is for my left hand (when rsi is killling my right hand)
best thing about it is the slope of the mouse: no bending wrists and such

o, and my keyboard has a scroll wheel on the left side of it, so that's within a thumb's reack of the marble mouse

cheers
