In this thread, (Dead Link Removed), he mentions "prize list", so you never know.

Irregardless of whether it's for some contest for gear or a contest for a grade, the sense of urgency indicates to me someone who has wasted their time until the last moment, or is trying to get someone else to do their homework so they can blow this off and go waste time afterwards.

Either way, it ain't very nice IMHO, to try to hustle the folks who DO want to really know what kind of gear to get for a nice little home studio. Afterall, THEY put their time in learning the craft. So should the student be excused from at least learning the basics?

If it's a homework project, then at least the instructor should warn these folks that they're liable to get slammed pretty hard for scamming us. I think I'm actually getting a reputation for being rather vicious to these morons... GOOD!

Ain't it funny... the dollar amount is always either $10,000 or $15,000.

Hey dipsters, Learn to use the search function and a calculator. Do your own work and don't whine about it... waaaaaa!
