This looks very interesting. We'll have to invite @TimDolbear here to talk about the mics etc when its released.

Today, I tested my latest guitar amp. It's a special amp if for no other reason than it is one of the last three my good friend and amp guru/mentor Conrad Sundholm will be building. He's retiring. After building and designing instrument amplification since 1964 or so. He was the founder of Sunn Amps. He started a company called Bi-Amp.
So Royer wanted a part of the semi-pro and home studio market.

I'm honestly intrigued because I'm the target for this new wave of products.
As I don't have 2-4k for the highend products, I end up turning to quality budget gears ( if such thing exists )
I've been a Thomann customer for years - my number one source, as in try them first, and only order elsewhere when they can't help - so I got a shock yesterday. On-line I tried to order some products and at checkout noticed a notice saying delivery delay - so clicked on it, and got informed they have problems and are experiencing 6 day delay on dispatch.
Without having made the retail market with any of my recordings I've done over the years, the mix demos I put online are essentially the only way potential clients are gonna hear my work.
I'm planning on possibly re mixing some old stuff, and a couple new things, to make my demo reel for my upcoming launch (2019) of my music site and freelance business.
I LOVE tracking cowbell as I am among other things a percussionist but sometimes the snare hits are off (cause it can't possibly be me) ;>) and I can't read minds. Ha ha! So how do I trigger my cowbell off the snare so I don't have to line them up. Is this possible without a sampling plug in? :>) Thanks.
Hi my friends,
I've put up a new video which I think may benefit RO members.
Let me know what you think of the sound and the production in general. (Trying to get better!) ;)
Don't miss the electric distorted guitar on which mic placement has the biggest impact.
hey y'all, as one who really hates renting and credit etc, I'm usually opposed to this type of thing but it seems a good deal. I was looking at a 9x9 in the same facility for $150. The manager called yesterday with this opening up next month.
$200/mo. No lease, just security deposit.
15x20 space, 10' ceilings.
24/7
Why would I want a "medium" size diaphragm mic capsule ? Seriously ! What are the pros ? Anyone who has experience with the Oktava 103 capsule ? I'd love to hear input !
Thanks and as always, MPBWY ! :)
Here's another great vid I found from Kraznet onYT...
This one explains using VCA faders in Samplitude Pro X 2 and later. This is a great video for those who want to know about VCA mixing, or who perhaps have questions about what VCA is and what it does.
