When it comes right down to good sound, the mix and master, I personally believe I can get by on most basic DAW platform with good to excellent preamps and conversion.

That fact that I use and discuss excellent gear is because its available to me, and because its also a passion of interest.

I want to break a signal path which has no discrete components in it as of now. I want a 3 position toggle switch to have the options of Stock (signal pass through), Resistor 1 (signal path broken and routed into Resistor 1), and Resistor 2 (signal path broken and routed into Resistor 2). I've been pondering this, but I think I have figured out how to do it.

Hi guys and girls, I was wondering: what is your approach to getting the groove of the track to sound tight? To have that drum sound like a solid block of audio rather than have all those transients flying around. I'm relatively new to paying attention to this, so I'm wondering you guys who've been at it for years have been doing.

In any recording where more than 1 microphone is used to record a source, PanNoir provides a completely unique solution to the correction of phase that will exist. Able to correct for the difference between stereo close and stereo room mics with an incredibly simple to use interface has completely changed what is possible to achieve in any mix situation.

The Fourier transform decomposes a function of time (a signal) into the frequencies that make it up, in a way similar to how a musical chord can be expressed as the amplitude (or loudness) of its constituent notes.
