Often (not always), when I start playing a sound file or video on my Laptop (MacBook Pro), I get a very audible "spike/click" in my speakers (Dynaudio BM5 MK3, connected via Presonous Audiobox USB) before the playback starts. This happens especially often, when listening to something on the internet. What can I do against that?

Feel free to post your own examples of songs/bands/artists who had great musicianship...and great sonics/mix examples are welcome, too.

I am still feeling the razor burn almost 2 years later, when a scant 3 weeks after I plunked down well over £2000 for v13, out came a Samplitude update with all the features I had wanted from Sequoia... for a fraction of the price ( I think I even saw it for 1/10th the price at one point).

hi, i'm planning on upgrading my interface and was planning on going with apollo 16 but i was reading online the sound quality is not noticeably better and for $3000 i want it to sound better than my firestudio projects.

i use logic and was wondering if maybe going Avid hardware is the way to go?

I'm using Pro X2. I need to increase the speed (but not the pitch) of 13 drum tracks and a couple of guitar tracks. I selected the tracks to change in the Object list (check boxes) and can speed up/shrink the tracks fine in the OE. But once I've selected the tracks, if I click on a different track all of my selected tracks become unselected.

Thought Id post another song just finished .
Ive cut right back on plugins and filtered more on the verb sends .
What do you think?
I also changed my work flow with reverb . Its not as noticeable now.
